The Twinkle On The Plaza Project is Downtown Martinez’s heartfelt mission to light up the Plaza and Main Street in warm, welcoming holiday magic — transforming our town square into the kind of place where families gather, memories are made, and the season truly shines. This project is about more than twinkle lights. It’s about creating that moment when a child looks up and says “wow.” It’s about evening strolls under glowing trees. It’s about bringing our community together in the heart of Martinez. Through local sponsorships, community support, and a little playful holiday spirit (yes, we’re getting lit — the wholesome way), we’re wrapping the Plaza in warmth, sparkle, and small-town Christmas charm.
